Sidharth Malhotra’s latest release Param Sundari is on course to become a successful venture, marking his strong comeback after a long gap. The film had created solid buzz prior to release, and while trade circles expected a double-digit opening, the actuals proved slightly different — yet still encouraging.
On its opening Friday, Param Sundari collected ₹7.37 crore nett, a decent start given the current unpredictable box-office climate. The film then showed strong growth on Saturday with ₹10.07 crore, followed by ₹11.04 crore on Sunday, taking the first weekend total past the ₹28 crore mark.
The real test, however, came on Monday when collections dipped to ₹3.32 crore, which, while lower than some of Sidharth’s earlier outings like ‘Marjaavaan‘ in 2017, However, the number is better than his last failure, Yodha. still kept the film in contention. Tuesday proved to be a bonus for the film thanks to the popular Cinema Blockbuster Tuesday offer, where ticket prices were reduced across major chains. Param Sundari’s box office is poised for a better Tuesday compared to Monday, Early estimates suggest ₹4–5 crore nett on its fifth day, surpassing Monday’s numbers.

With strong weekend growth, decent weekday hold, and positive audience feedback for its music — especially the track Pardesia — Param Sundari is shaping up to be a respectable success for Sidharth Malhotra. Though the film will face multiple big releases in its second weekend (Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4, a major franchise, and The Conjuring: Last Rites, one of the biggest horror franchises), these films, while targeting different audiences but will definitely eat into its screen count. If the film continues steady through its second weekend, it may well cross the hit line comfortably.
